Career Highlights

After completing his postgraduate studies in a facility that focused mostly on gastro-surgical procedures, he started working as a Surgical Specialist at the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. Then, between the years 1992 and 1995, he went back to AIIMS to complete his Post Doctoral Course (Ph.D.) in GI Surgery. After that, in 1996, he began working as an assistant professor at the University College of Medical Sciences in Shahdara, which is located in New Delhi.

The next year, 1997, he began his employment at the Pushpawati Singhania Research Institute for Liver, Renal, and Digestive disorders in the capacity of Senior Consultant for GI Surgery. He was the one who started this institution’s department of gastrointestinal surgery, and for the following seven years, he practiced all manner of major gastrosurgical treatments. It was in 2004 that he accepted a position as a Senior Consultant Surgical Gastroenterology at the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi. He has been responsible for carrying out all of the main gastro-surgical operations here.
